Marvin's Straightline Story

Mastering the chaos of time and space in his own head, Marvin Blair, a former art student at the Chelsea School of Art, channeled his inner trauma into expressive pieces of art.

His life took a sharp detour when he was sentenced to life in prison at the age of 24. During his 15 years in prison, his creative streaks continued from behind bars as he transformed his cell into his own personal canvas.

Tragedy struck when Marvin's brother died during his prison sentence. He was unable to attend the funeral. In 2019 Marvin was released from prison. He is slowly rebuilding his life at home in Liverpool near his family again, where he finally gets the chance to be a father, a brother and friend.
